The more I swim through older interpretations of quantum physics (from the 1920's to the 1970's) the more I see that we've gone off course a bit starting from the 80's and 90's (maybe technology over-saturated our perspective on the workings of reality or maybe we've just had too used of a canvas to work with since the mid century).

Time is most certainly an effect and many findings serve to confirm this (say the annihilation of anti matter / atoms interacting with probability clouds as a difficult example) but our drum-beaten narratives obscure the larger picture at play.

Our pre-disposed narratives have, I think anyway, imposed a certain way of using our imagination, further constricting its potential to how we look upon energy or time.

Hoping that we're just taking a very long and fruitless detour on the way to getting some semblance of an answer, so long as we don't get too stuck in the irresistible quicksands of technology.

Another great article, thanks John, joy to read.

Like you say, we're clever - we've found ways to profit and to survive with our knowledge of such matters, but are we wisely deciphering an answer or are we just constructing one from the shanty pieces at our disposal?

Hate to be gloomy about it..
