Thanks for this as it seems the world is caught in this tunnel vision of shock and anger, as they perhaps should be. But in such a situation, many of the underlying issues and bifurcating dilemmas get lost in the clouds of debris that accompany our knee jerk responses.
The fact that the west is rapidly and vehemently arming a war of Slavs against Slavs; the fact that there's no pause for consideration of how to keep the black market from becoming flooded with new armaments or to keep formerly-incarcerated gangs from running the increasingly apocalyptic streets in Ukraine; the fact that there's an absurd amount of misinformation coming from both sides of it all with no recourse.
Fair media reporting has been obscured by sensationalism as it would in such a situation (The Snake Island 13 live on, the Ghost of Kyiv flies off) and everyone is riding the contrails of their instinctive emotion rather than taking a scenic route that serves to identify truth.
Even the cultural nuances underpinning it all (the flow of Christianity from Constantinople to Moscow, the lines in the sand between the East and West).
Time is the only truth in such scenarios and it's through this filter than we can accurately decipher how everything played out.
The 1/0 of sentience seems to necessitate the flinging of poo - I guess there's not much else to do when culture spirals into relative absurdity.
