Happy to have you post on this John! You had inspired me to adopt a new thinking of time not very long ago with your post (here) which I implore everyone to read.

I’m all for time being circular in its nature and often liken it to two black holes that swirl about eachother.

Do you think that consciousness itself can influence time beyond giving it any sort of meaning?

A big problem we face seems to be disentangling time from our own existence; of considering time to exist if we didn’t.

I think a large part of the problem is that the word ‘time’ itself has been so steeped in context over the course of our existence that we can’t effectively describe any other form that it may take.

That’s where your writing comes in as especially helpful — you have a good way of prying the mind open to consider a wholly different architecture to this strange concept..
